Teacher + Year Leader - FULL time - closing 28th April
Balfour Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive school, part of the Thrive Together School Alliance (TTSA), a small and exciting collaborative group of city-wide primary schools, a secondary school, and a specialist provision school. Located on the Surrenden Campus our extensive shared grounds include a Nature School for all children. We are a large, full and oversubscribed school, reflecting our strong reputation within the community.
The children and staff are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join us on a permanent basis leading a year group of three or four classes.
As a Class Teacher and Year Leader, you will:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Lead and manage a year group, ensuring consistently high standards of teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the curriculum.
- Monitor and support the progress and development of children.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide a point of contact for your team and our families
We require:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience in teaching and leadership roles.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in children's lives.

Class Teacher - Sabbatical Cover - closes 28th April

Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA), permanent or bank Staff

Balfour Primary School is a thriving and vibrant school at the heart of the Surrenden Campus serving the Preston Park, Fiveways and Hollingbury communities. Our school is a four form-entry primary school and is one of the largest primary schools in the country with over 700 pupils on roll. We are very proud of:
